Suunto Ambit3 Run is the perfect running companion. Get speed, pace, cadence and distance, along with full route navigation. Now you can analyze your recovery time more accurately. The analysis include your activity after the training session by measuring your activity with the watch, and if you use the heart rate belt it will include the data into the recovery time.
Your sleep can be a part of the analysis. Use the heart rate belt while sleeping, connect it to the watch or app in the morning, and it will upload the data automatically.

Measure your heart rate with the Smart Sensor belt
Heart rate monitoring is possible with the Suunto Smart Sensor heart rate belt. This is included in the ”HR” versions, and can be bought separately. The watch is identical in both versions, and the heart rate functionality is activated with the heart rate belt. Suunto Ambit3 uses bluetooth connectivity and is not compatible with older ANT belts or devices.

The Suunto Movescount Web App, is a complete analysis tool online. Here you can also update the watch with new software, add new apps and functionality. It automatically uploads you data while your watch is being charged.

Plan detailed interval workouts with the Suunto Movescount App, transfer them to your Ambit3 watch and get guidance during the workout, both on the watch and as voice guidance using the Movescount App.
Voice guidance during workout
With the Suunto Movescount App running and Bluetooth activated, you can get a range of voice guidance. The guidance includes notifications when you exceed segment limits, reminders of segment targets, segment summaries, and more. At first in English only, during spring voice guidance will be expanded to support all Ambit3 watch languages.

Offered by the SW update 2.0, sleep recovery and quick recovery tests with new running performance functionality and new languages bring the watch to a new level.
Software updates enhance the functionality of the Ambit3 GPS watches through new features and improvements. If updates are available, you are notified through Moveslink on your computer. We encourage you to install updates as soon as they are available.
Sleep recovery test
Make sure you recover from exercise and learn how your sleep quality correlates with your performance. The Sleep Recovery Test tells how well you recovered during the night. In the morning you get a report about the quality of your sleep and your current state of recovery.
Quick recovery test
You can check your recovery state at any time with the quick recovery test. Just put on Suunto Smart Sensor and start the test. The measurement, analysis and report is performed within just five minutes. Your heart rate, heart rate variation, as well as respiration rate derived from your heart beat are used to give you a cummulative percentage score indicating your overall state of recovery. The higher the percentage, the better your recovery state is.
Progressing well enough for the approaching race day? Follow your running performance during your run and track your average over the last weeks with the new running performance display. In the Suunto Movescount App, you can see how your running performance correlates with your recovery time, sleep quality and activity.
Ambit3 watches and the Suunto Movescount App support the same languages as Movescount. The full language set includes: EN, CS, DA, DE, ES, FI, FR, IT, JA, KO, NL, NO, PL, PT, RU, SV, and ZH.
